In 1992 a fresh faced producer from the Eastern Counties of England stepped off the train at Ladbroke Grove Tube Station in West London en route to his first ever encounter in a recording studio. That studio was located in the basement of the Kickin’ Records office in Westbourne Park Road, and the experience proved to be the beginning of a journey nobody could have predicted.
Fast forward over two hedonistic decades and K90 is now one the most recognisable and highly respected producers, performers and DJ’s in hard dance with base of loyal and loving fans spanning the globe.
Famed for his trademark and enthusiastic live & DJ sets, K90 has performed at many of the world’s premier dance events including ‘Godskitchen – Global Gathering’, ‘Creamfields’, ‘SW4’ and ‘Tidy Weekender’ series (UK), ‘Dance Valley’ and ‘Q-Base International Dance Festival’ (The Netherlands), the long running ‘Advent*jah’ Festival (Australia), ‘Checkpoint Charlie’ (New Zealand) and more recently ‘Hard Dance Ibiza’ (Spain) ‘London Hard House Reunion’ (New Zealand) and ‘Hard Dance Icons Tour’ (Australia).
As well as a strong international following, K90 has also continued to be a massive favourite with UK audiences with performances at clubs such as Frantic (London), Storm (Coalville), Obsession (London), Detox (Newcastle), Escape (Swansea), Big (East of Engalnd) – the list goes on.
Credited for his numerous productions, releases and remixes K90 is responsible for creating the clubland phenomenon that is ‘Red Snapper’, arguably one of the most renowned hard dance tracks ever made! Not content merely with single releases Mark also boasts four artist albums to his already long list of recording achievements including the critically acclaimed ‘The Inner Limits’, ‘Crash’ and arguably his best work to date ‘Urban Anthems’ fuelling the opinion that K90 continues to be one leading authorities in dance music today!
Following on from a long and fruitful relationship with record label ‘Recover Records’ Mark’s love affair with the dance music industry continued to grow with the launch of his own label ‘Dataless Recordings’ In 2004. Since the launch of the label, Mark has not only released countless singles from his own constantly growing repertoire, but has coached many up and coming producers in an effort to try and help them fulfil their dreams in the world of dance music, just as he has over a glittering and fruitful career.
K90, still a resident in Cambridge, continues to work from his studio at home. “I just couldn’t write my music anywhere else” he says “the hustle and bustle of a major city like London would be just to full on for me, artistically that is!’ And when asked in a recent interview…“how do you keep up the level of enthusiasm for each event you perform at?” Mark replied with an answer which pretty much sums up the man himself…”When I perform, it’s usually the very interaction with the crowd which spurs on my enthusiasm. They feed off my energy and I feed off theirs, it’s a two way thing” He continues “On the question of ‘do I find it easy to stay enthusiastic for every performance’ my answer would simply be this. I have the privilege of playing my music on stages at some of the biggest events here in the UK and around the world. I work every day at a job I love…and I get paid for it! Who wouldn’t be enthusiastic”?
2015 will see the launch of Mark’s all new K90 ‘Live’ REBOOT project culminating in a selection of ‘live’ headline performances at some of the UK’s largest events and festivals. Expect all the usual K90 magic showcasing brand new tracks, updated remixes of the classics, as well as an all new 21sat century light show and visual experience!

It all started in a shed with vinyl decks 17 years ago. Since then the unimaginable has happened. After 12 months of solid practice Lucy decided to play her first gig on a table set up in a small pub in Hertfordshire. If you had told her then, that within a decade she would have been playing for the biggest Hard House brands in the world to thousands of people, touring the globe, headlining events, playing main stage weekenders and being a long standing resident for super-clubs Storm and Frantic- there is no chance she would have believed it.
Lucy Fur has not happened over night, it has taken years of dedication in a music world she adores and loves. But hard work does pay off. Once the London gigs became more frequent, people started to take notice in the early 00’s.
Around 2007 the Toolbox relationship blossomed with head honcho Nik Denton and she was made the first lady of Toolbox. Since this time Lucy has released two albums, one a Toolkit featuring three of her own productions and the other Toolbox V2 which she mixed with the mega star Justin Bourne. She has had a string of strong releases including ‘Shake It Up’ ‘One Stop Chop’ and ‘Rattlebrain’. 2013 sees her third album release to celebrate Toolbox’s 12th Birthday and her new ‘Hit The Floor’ track is to be released at part of the 150th edition EP in March. Her track release on the mighty Vicious Circle label, ‘ Lucy In Sky With Hoovers’ which has featured on the Ideal Album mixed by BK and is a won for’ Best Track 2012’ at the Hard House Awards.
Early 2014 saw the Fur take over of Toolbox Recordings, which has launched her further into realms of the dance world, with a string of tracks to be released- the first being May 2014. What an accolade to her.
The last ten years we have seen Lucy play at the biggest events in the UK, and has been lucky enough to play main stage five times at Koko in London for Frantic’s epic events. She has done numerous Ibiza events where she is a firm favourite and was a quarterly regular in Ireland. In 2011 she toured New Zealand playing for Frantic in Auckland and Hardbeat in Wellington where she left an impression musically and personally. Alongside all this she was regularly playing for the Best Club Night 2010 and 2011 at the Hard House Awards, Storm. Lucy became runner up in 2012 to the legend Karim as ‘Best Resident’ for Storm but she finally took the title and won ‘Best Resident’ for 2013.
In March 2011 Lucy closed the main stage at the infamous Tidy Weekender Reunion event which was said by many, to be the set of the weekend. Clips of this set on YouTube have reached over 3000+ hits. Lucy was welcomed back to play the Xmas Tidy Weekender in December of 2011 where her mix made the Live Tidy Album which was released early 2012.
In April 2014 her album with Cally Gage for new label ‘HARD’ won Best Album at the HDM awards, she came runner up for her track with Kirsty Lee James ‘Escalator’ on Vicious Circle and Lucy herself was voted the number 1 ‘Best Hard House DJ’ 2014, a day she will never forget. She was then invited back to play Tidy20 Weekender after she had relocated to Australia to close the main stage again and to do a special 20 year anniversary b2b set with the legendary Andy Farley. 2015 saw her LHHR debut in Auckland Djing alongside the world’s finest such as BK and Paul King, the biggest hard house event in New Zealand.
Last year Lucy successfully hosted her own one off event ‘Furocious’ in Sydney which ignited her fire once again and launched her straight to tour Ibiza exclusively for Xstatic UK in September 2016. Lucy has selected a few monumental events to play in 2017, so watch this space.
